To ease commuter challenges in Lagos, the state government has issued an order for the immediate evacuation of all tankers and trailers from the Cele Bus Stop and Tincan Port axis.
This proactive measure aims to tackle the traffic congestion caused by vehicles parking along these routes.
Emphasizing the need for smooth traffic flow, minimal disruptions, and an enhanced overall mobility experience, Sola Giwa, Lagos State’s Special Adviser on Transportation, underscores the government’s commitment to addressing the congestion issue resulting from tanker and trailer parking in the Cele Bus Stop and Tincan Port areas.
Prioritizing public safety and the efficiency of the road network, the Lagos State government urges tanker and trailer drivers to comply with the directive, warning of potential sanctions under the State Transport Reform Law for non-compliance.
