Governor Eno’s Dedication To Accountability In Akwa Ibom Is Evident.

during the Chief Emeka Anyaoku Lecture Series on Good Governance. He stressed the significance of accountability in achieving good governance and vowed to deliver on the A.R.I.S.E. Agenda blueprint for democratic progress.

Governor Eno made it clear that he has instructed Commissioners and Heads of Agencies to regularly inform the public about their respective department’s activities, emphasizing the importance of transparency in fund utilization.

He expressed his commitment to serving the 7.9 million residents of the state, highlighting the administration’s adherence to the A.R.I.S.E. Agenda and the launch of the One-Per-Local Government Project aimed at grassroots development.

The administration is dedicated to fulfilling its campaign promises and will initiate 31 projects chosen by the Local Governments, with the goal of implementing at least four projects in each Local Government Area within two years, focusing on job creation and improving livelihoods. Additionally, plans are in place to establish a medical corridor and enhance healthcare services.

Governor Eno also mentioned the Ibom Leadership Empowerment Center’s efforts to train 400 individuals who will receive starter packs and cash to start their businesses, contributing to economic growth.

He commended Chief Emeka Anyaoku as a symbol of hope for future generations and praised the organizers of the Annual Lecture Series as a testament to Akwa Ibom State’s commitment to good governance under the ARISE Agenda.
