Governor Fintiri Urges Peace As Soldiers Allegedly Attack Adamawa Police Headquarters.

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has called for calm between the Nigerian Army and Police in the wake of an alleged attack by soldiers on the state police command’s headquarters.

The incident, occurring early Wednesday, resulted in the tragic killing of Inspector Jacob Daniel.

Fintiri emphasized the shared responsibility of both agencies in protecting lives and property, urging them to resolve their differences peacefully.

Meanwhile, a police inspector, surviving the attack, criticized the military’s use of force, emphasizing the need for proper communication.

The police commissioner condemned the conflict, initiating an immediate investigation and warning against further attacks on security officers.

Brigade Commander Brigadier General Gambo Mohammed claimed his men were rescuing a comrade allegedly hidden and shot by the police.
