Governor Chukwuma Soludo has allocated N2 billion as a startup fund to empower more than 5,000 young individuals hailing from all 21 local government areas within Anambra State.
Following the completion of the ‘one youth, two skills’ training program, these beneficiaries received their disbursements in Awka.
Hon. Chuks Azotani, the chairman of the Information Technology and Creative Economy committee, commended Governor Soludo’s initiative, emphasizing its potential to combat unemployment and nurture self-reliant young entrepreneurs.
He advised the recipients to make prudent investments in their trained skills and businesses for maximum impact.
Chuks Azotani expressed his enthusiasm for Governor Soludo’s 1 youth, 2 skills program and encouraged the trained beneficiaries to apply their newfound skills wisely, becoming successful business owners and employers.
He also highlighted the approximately 100 beneficiaries from the Dunukofia local government area and assured them of more promising opportunities.
He urged Nigerian youths, especially in the field of ICT, to engage in meaningful ventures, as the Soludo administration has further plans for socio-economic development.
Lastly, he called upon the people of Anambra to support the government’s endeavors in fostering prosperity and livability in the state.
