Governor Uzodimma and Labor leader Joe Ajaero are in a dispute. The governor accuses Ajaero of meddling in politics, while labor unions plan strong action against the governor for assaulting Ajaero.
Ajaero alleges workers’ rights violations and vows to mobilize workers for a strike. The NLC claims the state government is behind the attack on Ajaero.
Uzodimma denies interference in labor matters and asserts that he has paid workers’ salaries.
ASUP condemns the attack on Ajaero and awaits guidance from the NLC for further action.
