The Asiwaju Tinubu Mandate Forum accused certain politicians of attempting to organize a smear campaign against Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President.
The group, in a statement by its National Coordinator, Adelowo Oluwasesan, claimed that these desperate politicians are working against President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
They alleged that these politicians, through orchestrated articles and protests, are undermining key policy agendas such as subsidy removal, tax reform, and currency rate integration.
While the group acknowledges the citizens’ right to peaceful protest, they strongly condemned the campaign to remove the Chief of Staff, emphasizing his role as a stabilizing force in President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the ruling party’s renewed hope agenda.
The group also urged security agencies to closely monitor the situation to prevent civil unrest and property damage, warning that those inciting such actions should face the full force of the law.
