Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has instructed the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Haliru Nababa, to look into allegations of some personnel aiding terrorists.
Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Chris Musa had accused certain correctional service personnel of collaborating with inmates to fund terrorist operations, prompting the minister to call for a thorough investigation.
The minister emphasized that any personnel found guilty would face legal consequences, stressing the need to address challenges in correctional facilities affecting national security.
