The management of Kano Pillars Football Club is seeking a reconsideration of the N12 million fine imposed by the Nigeria Professional Football League Disciplinary Committee.
The appeal follows an incident where disruptions by unidentified individuals marred the Week 17 match against Plateau United at Sani Abacha Stadium.
The club, while condemning the misconduct, urges the committee to approach the matter impartially, acknowledging human fallibility and emphasizing the importance of maintaining sportsmanship.
The management vows to take collective steps to uphold the team’s reputation and apologizes for the actions of a few individuals who tarnished the club’s image.
