He also addressed the case of Miracle Adereti, a schoolgirl abducted in Ikotun, stressing the urgent need for community vigilance and police cooperation.
Highlighting specific incidents like the abduction of Ejike Conversion from Ladipo Spare Parts Market, Adegoke emphasized the need for collective action against kidnappers. He urged citizens to report any suspicious activities to the police promptly.
Regarding ransom payments, Adegoke reiterated, The act of paying ransom is not commendable. Individuals should cease from doing so. It is unacceptable. The increasing boldness of kidnappers can be attributed to the payment of ransom.
Addressing concerns about unreported incidents, Adegoke urged communities to collaborate with law enforcement agencies, debunking rumors and encouraging prompt reporting of criminal activities.
