The body of 27-year-old Adeyemi Azeez, a resident of Community Avenue, Oshogun, in Agboyi–Ketu LCDA Alapere, has been retrieved from a lagoon in Alapere following a two-day search by the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service.
The incident occurred on January 1, 2024, when Azeez accidentally fell into a drain collector canal leading to the lagoon. The recovery took place on January 3, 2023, at approximately 4:05 pm, and the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service extends condolences to Azeez’s family.
The body has been handed over to the Alapere Police Division for further procedures.
