Dr. Charity Adaralegbe, a married alumna, has made history at the University of Abuja, earning the title of the best medical student with an outstanding 23 awards and prizes.
Adaralegbe, who holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree, received additional recognition as the top graduate in the School of Medicine.
Among her achievements are first-class honors in physiology and other notable accolades. Adaralegbe’s remarkable feat was celebrated at a recent graduation ceremony where she stood out as a symbol of excellence.
Similarly, Sumayyah Abdallah, a 24-year-old medical graduate from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, secured the top spot with twenty-three awards during her induction ceremony on December 9th.
Abdallah expressed gratitude for the honor and acknowledged the challenges she overcame on her journey, emphasizing the importance of support from her parents, teachers, and lecturers.
In her reflection, Abdallah highlighted the significance of consistent high grades in medical school, which played a pivotal role in her achievement. She expressed deep gratitude, stating, I am very thankful to Allah for this accomplishment.
The joy on my parents’ faces and their tears of happiness are priceless. This is a moment I will cherish forever.
