Chevron Nigeria Limited has announced the appointment of Jim Swartz as the new Chairman and Managing Director, effective April 1, 2024. Swartz, formerly Vice President of Capital Projects in Houston, USA, brings extensive experience in upstream business and a track record of building successful partnerships with stakeholders.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Swartz joined Chevron in 1990 and has held various roles of increasing responsibility in Louisiana, Angola, and the United States.
He takes over from Richard Kennedy, who retired after nearly four decades of service to the company.
