Former Central Council of Ibadan Local President, Chief Adeyemi Soladoye, emphasized the need for Nigeria to prepare its youth for future challenges rather than simply building a future for them.
He advocated for a planned approach to shared and human development during his speech at the 2023 Oke-Odo Day event in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Soladoye also stressed the importance of transforming socio-cultural clubs into community welfare advocacy groups to ensure the growth and greatness of Ibadan.
Chairman of the occasion, Samson Bamidele, urged people to be actively involved in community development, emphasizing the need for faith in one another.
The event featured notable dignitaries, award recipients, and distinguished guests, including the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun.
