Akor Adams has emerged as the latest sensation in French football, joining the ranks of Nigerian forwards who are making a significant impact in Europe’s top divisions.
Alongside established names like Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Gift Orban, Terem Moffi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Taiwo Awoniyi, this young striker is quickly proving his worth.
Adams wasted no time in leaving his mark on Ligue 1, following his €4.5 million transfer from Lillestrom in the summer.
In a recent match against Toulouse, the 23-year-old displayed his prowess by scoring twice, finding the back of the net in the 17th and 72nd minutes.
This performance contributed to Montpellier’s convincing 3-0 victory, further solidifying his status as a remarkable talent in Ligue 1. With seven goals in just nine appearances, Akor Adams is undoubtedly a player to watch.
