The Ondo State House of Assembly, in compliance with resolutions from President Bola Tinubu’s meeting, has urged Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to submit an undated resignation letter.

Speaker Olamide Oladiji emphasized adherence to decisions made during the meeting, including maintaining the status quo and halting impeachment proceedings and court cases.

The Assembly, acting on constituents’ mandates, also approved members for the Interim Caretaker Committee, while Aiyedatiwa’s response remains pending.

A political associate indicated the deputy governor’s displeasure, citing a perceived deviation from the resolutions made in the Friday meeting with Tinubu.
