The PDP Governors Forum, following their Abuja meeting, is urging the Federal Government to adopt a new revenue allocation formula that provides states and local government areas with a more substantial share of funds, emphasizing the importance of fair distribution and reaching the grassroots level.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, the Forum’s Chairman, conveyed their stance in a communique.

The governors also discussed recent Court of Appeal judgments on various state governors, expressing confidence in the judiciary’s ability to ensure justice, especially in cases like Zamfara and Plateau.

Additionally, they supported the Independent National Electoral Commission’s investigation into allegations of pre-filled result sheets in off-season elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo states, aiming to uphold transparency and trust in the democratic process.
