Nasarawa State’s PDP members are calling on the Supreme Court to meticulously reevaluate the recent Court of Appeal judgment affirming Governor Abdullahi Sule’s victory in the 2023 election.
Expressing disappointment, they argue that the judgment deviated from democratic principles and overlooked transparency issues in INEC’s declaration of Sule as governor.
They highlight discrepancies, such as the significant difference between accredited voters and APC votes in specific wards.
Emphasizing the judiciary’s role in upholding justice, fairness, and merit, they lament the lack of thorough investigation into these irregularities, eroding trust in the justice system.
Additionally, they condemn the mistreatment of their women supporters by security personnel and stress their commitment to peaceful protests for justice.
