Rep Olaide Akinremi commends President Bola Tinubu for expressing unwavering support for his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Speaking to journalists in Abuja, Akinremi highlighted the meticulous selection of Gbajabiamila for the Chief of Staff role by the President, emphasizing the former Speaker’s steadfastness and integrity.
He decried the disheartening spread of propaganda and rumors targeting Gbajabiamila, attributing these to individuals with interests contrary to the government’s decisions.
Akinremi praised President Tinubu’s wisdom and dedication to the nation’s welfare, asserting that attempts to tarnish the Chief of Staff’s reputation have been thwarted by the President’s resolute statement.
He further urged those planning protests to redirect their efforts toward more meaningful pursuits, as the government’s adversaries have been exposed, and their schemes will not succeed.
Reports of the President’s alleged intention to dismiss his Chief of Staff were addressed during a recent Federal Executive Council meeting, where the President reaffirmed his complete confidence in Femi Gbajabiamila’s integrity and called for an end to defamation campaigns against him, pledging to take responsibility for any mistakes made.
