Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), has pledged $13 million in aid to assist civilians in Gaza.

This generous contribution is a joint effort by Saudi King Salman and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman on behalf of Saudi Arabia. Established in 2015, KSRelief collaborates with UN organizations and provides assistance to recipients in nearly 100 countries.

The UN Emergency Relief Office (OCHA) had previously requested $300 million in urgent financial aid due to the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Humanitarian aid has been ongoing for the people of the Gaza Strip since the outbreak of the conflict, which followed the October 7 attacks.

In addition, thousands of foreign passport holders have been awaiting departure from the Strip through the Rafah border in Egypt.
