In an
interview with Zero Conditions, Teni expressed how growing up in a polygamous household was a blessing. She emphasized the sense of security and protection provided by her siblings and credited her late father for maintaining peace.
According to Teni, the dynamics of her family, formed through her parents’ three marriages, brought them together, and she wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.
She finds monogamy less exciting, appreciating the love and occasional craziness within her polygamous family. Teni highlighted her father’s wisdom, detailing his preparations for the family’s future, including teaching one of his wives how to handle a gun to ensure their well-being after his passing.
