The 2024 budget for the presidency reveals a plan to allocate N16 billion for travels, including N15.961 billion for President Tinubu, VP Shettima, and their aides.
Concerns have been raised about the substantial travel budget, questioning its necessity and prudent use of taxpayer funds.
The breakdown indicates N7.630 billion for President Tinubu’s travels, with N6.992 billion for foreign trips.
Additionally, allocations cover expenses like office maintenance, vehicle procurement, and expenditures on food, honorarium, and computer software, raising eyebrows over the scale of these allocations.
