The Federal Government has Received the Second Niger Bridge from Julius Berger.

The Julius Berger company has officially handed over the completed Second Niger Bridge to the Federal Government. This marks a significant achievement, initiated during the previous administration and now successfully finalized. Chief David Umahi, the Minister of Works, expressed satisfaction with the project’s completion and praised both past and present administrations for their dedication.

The project doesn’t just end with the bridge; there are future plans to utilize solar power, ensuring sustainable energy for lighting. President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to the project includes expanding the infrastructure with service stations, restaurants, and supermarkets for enhanced convenience.

Furthermore, efforts to maintain the road’s quality include plans for smart interchanges and the installation of CCTV cameras for security. Dr. Richter commended Julius Berger for timely delivery and top-notch workmanship. Additionally, Mr. Bede Obioha emphasized the community’s role in safeguarding these facilities for their longevity.
