In the Gbanganu/Fadikpe Area of Minna, Niger state, two rival youth groups clashed, leading to the tragic deaths of two individuals and causing serious injuries, along with the destruction of some properties.
The exact cause of the clash, which claimed the lives of two people, remains unclear.
However, according to a resident, conflicts between youth groups have become a daily occurrence despite efforts by security personnel to mitigate such incidents.
Umaru Aminu and Saidu Mallam were fatally stabbed during the confrontation, reportedly with knives and daggers wielded by members of the clashing groups.
Wasiu Abiodun, the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, confirmed that ten suspects have been apprehended in connection with the incident.
